Picture Organizing

I'm ashamed!

See this?

And this?

In case you're wondering, these are my photographs.  Not in photo albums.  Not in frames.  IN BOXES!  Shame on me.

Here is a view of the inside of the tall box.

This is the mess that was in that box.

Look how old this album is.  It was actually my mother-in-law's.  The edge of the pages has yellowed.  And I have only half filled it.  Oh the shame.
I bought this album in 1980, right after I got married.  I guess technically it's old too.  I just don't see it that way. I bought it from Walgreen's and the first set of pages were free.

I remember being so proud of it and planned to buy more but they were gone soon after that.  I was just lucky that I bought enough pages to fill this one up.  I like the way it opens like a notebook.

Look what I found today at Goodwill.  See that price tag?  $1.99!  Excellent condition.  This is what started me on my picture organizing kick.

Beautiful pages inside.  It will hold 100 photos.  I know I definitely have more than that but it's a start.

I left Goodwill, went to Walmart and found this for 3 buckaroos!  I wasn't even looking for it.  Um, somebody trying to tell me something?

One pack of 10 pages - 99 cents.

Notebook style, I like that!

Room for plenty more packs.

So, once more, here is my total stash.

Bet you thought this was gonna end looking good, didn't you?  Sorry to disappoint but this is still as far as I have gotten.  But at least I'm closer to getting it done.  So if you don't hear from me soon, you'll know that I've been sidetracked reminiscing.

  2. Oh my goodness, what a job! I have boxes of pictures too. I have numerous scrapbooks done but I can't keep up with the new pictures. It's so rewarding to finish a book though. Happy organizing! New follower ~ found you thru the social hop.
