Painted Flower Basket

Hello Friend. How's your Saturday going? I'm kinda in a melancholy mood. Today would have been my maternal Grandmother's 100th birthday. She's been gone since 93 but I still miss her.

I have been working on a new project.  I'm trying my hand at painting.  I'm no artist, that's for sure, but I don't think I did half bad.  This is a basket of hydrangeas. Can you tell what it is that I painted it on?

  

It began as a retaining wall block.  You know. The kind that lays on its side.  So, what ya think? Not half bad, huh.
