MY REVIEW OF Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss

This is the first time I have ever heard the term hypnotherapy. I know what hypnosis is, but what is this new term about? The title had me more than interested. I have tried dieting at various times and levels. But now that I have passed menopause, nothing I do helps with my weight loss. Why not try something different?

The book begins by stating conventional ways of losing weight, and then describes and defines the unconventional way of hypnotherapy. I thought it was fascinating and easy to understand, and follow through on. Furthermore, you are instructed to not be skeptical and remain open minded. I can see where that would be crucial. If you don’t believe that it will work, you risk failure before you even start. I know from experience that you must give your all or you set yourself up for failure. This is something you can do on your own, but if you feel like you need help, the book lists other avenues for professional help.


Truly, after reading what hypnotherapy entails, it seems to be the logical way to go, on losing weight. It’s done without starving yourself and you should show results within the 30 days of programing. Also, hypnotherapy can be used for more than weight loss, practically any area of problems you may have. I plan to give it a try.
