A serial killer
has come to Boston. Or maybe it’s a copycat, it’s too hard to tell. When Alex
and Nick investigate the latest murder, there are similarities to several
murders in Florida. But this is Boston. And this victim is nothing like the
profile target. And neither is the next victim. But, both do have a common
thread. Alex. Evidently this is not the work of the Florida serial killer. Or
is it?
This
edge-of-my-seat thriller was so good. In usual Mefford writing style, there
were plenty of suspects to choose from but hard to narrow down. Each time I
thought I knew who it was, evidence changed, ruling them out. Even so, the
culprit’s identity stayed just out of reach. This was a very satisfying read.
