Melissa Foster has done it again with her incredibly fun and compelling story ‘A Little Bit Wicked’. This story is about Justin ‘Maverick’ Wicked, sculptor by day and a Dark Knight biker in his downtime. He is rugged, devilishly handsome, and once he sets his sights on Chloe, he is blinded and can’t envision himself with anyone else.
Chloe is a powerful woman, she works at LOCAL an care centre for the elderly. She is sweet and kind to the bone, but her past has left her determined to avoid ‘bad boys’ and look for a businessman/ gentleman type of man. Justin Wicked excites her, but equally scares her in what falling for him may mean. She has this strange preconceived notion that bikers are no good.
But one evening, when Justin enters his family’s bar looking defeated and beaten up, Chloe can’t help but be drawn to him, and it’s like her eyes are finally opened to what kind of man he is, and what they could be.
This book is truly beautiful, it had humour, flirtation and also some real hard-hitting heartbreaking moments.
It was a book that broke and healed me as a reader, and I cannot get enough of the Wicked’s and the Dark Knight clan!
So many characters from previous books and no doubt books to come are featured in this story, adding to the fun and this expanding fictional world. There is never a dull moment, and everyone likes a bit of Wicked sometimes.
This book is the perfect read for all romance lovers looking to be taken on a complete rollercoaster, and the way in which Foster writes romance gets me every time! Amazing book and ideal for anyone wanting to get stuck into a series, or a good read with unique characters.
