Book Ten is the end of the Onyx Webb saga with the final pieces of the web sewn together.

In Book Ten:

  2. Stan Lee and Spider Boy finally meet.
  3. Readers finally learn the fate of Onyx Webb.

MY REVIEW

Well, the end of Onyx Webb series has come, and I’m not a happy camper about that. In this final chapter of the story, everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the solstice ghostly invasion. Onyx is letting depression take over, Noah gets the shock of his life, the Mulvaney’s tragedy brings them closer, and Stan Lee is running out of time. The rest of the characters are included, and everyone gets a closure.

The web has become crystal clear and gone full circle. The subtle shout out to the reader was a nice touch. And the joke about hanging Chad had me hearing the da-dum-dump music behind it. Kudos to these two Florida authors for that! Why, oh why, can’t this story go on forever? These characters have woven their way into my heart and it’s going to be hard leaving them behind. All I can hope for is to see them on the silver screen one day and be able to say ‘hello my long lost friends’.

Onyx Webb Book Nine Review

Onyx Webb: Book Nine: Episodes 25, 26, 27 & 28

By Richard Fenton & Andra Waltz

Onyx Webb: Book Nine: Episodes 25, 26, 27 & 28 by [Fenton, Richard, Waltz, Andrea]
Welcome Back to the World of Onyx Webb! This is Book Nine. (Episodes 25, 26, 27, & 28)
Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.
Book Nine is the most cataclysmic book in the series yet and what we have been building to for so long. The web is almost entirely formed now. But questions remain: what happens to everyone now that it is?
Onyx Webb is a complex multi-genre mash-up that combines elements of supernatural suspense, crime, horror, romance, and more. The Onyx Webb series follows the unusual life of Onyx Webb along with a central group of characters in various locations and times.

In Book Nine:

  1. The Mulvaney's host the Solstice Eclipse Ball for the Restoring Savannah Foundation and Gerylyn's prediction comes to pass.
  2. Stan Lee gets his revenge and Juniper battles a dark evil at the mansion.
  3. Onyx Webb spends her days at the lighthouse alone again without Noah Ashley but Noah may have other plans.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

Well, the time has come for the Solstice Eclipse event, when a tear in the lining between the living and the dead occurs and allows the dead to enter the realm of the living. And what better time than during the Restoring Savannah Foundation Masquerade Ball at the Mulvaney mansion. All the main characters were there, except for Onyx Webb, who’s still in Crimson Cove, and of course Wyatt Scrogger who is in his final hours on death row. Those in the know could feel that something was going to happen, it was inevitable. The tension in the air was palpable. Then as the predicted events start unfolding, it was like watching an explosion and not being able to do a thing about it.

I knew this one was going to be a shocker and it didn’t disappoint me. But I didn’t expect to enjoy the chaos as much as I did. Of course, not everything is positive, but it definitely is satisfying. Olympia Fudge is a hoot, and was certainly the life of the party. Stan Lee is still the menace he always was. Does he get caught? How many will survive the ball? Will Wyatt get pardoned? And what is next for Onyx? My lips are sealed!

Onyx Webb: Book Eight Review

Onyx Webb: Book Eight: Episodes 22, 23 & 24

By Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz

Onyx Webb: Book Eight: Episodes 22, 23 & 24 by [Fenton, Richard, Waltz, Andrea]

Welcome Back to the World of Onyx Webb! This is Book Eight. (Episodes 22, 23 & 24)

Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.

The timelines - the web - is more tightened than ever. Although the connections are clear, suspense reigns as always.
Onyx Webb is a complex multi-genre mash-up that combines elements of supernatural suspense, crime, horror, romance, and more. The Onyx Webb series follows the unusual life of Onyx Webb along with a central group of characters in various locations and times.
The billionaire Mulvaney family, piano prodigy Juniper Cole and her brother Quinn, paranormal show hosts Cryer and Fudge, and a few others make up the core of the series. Written like a book version of your favorite tv series (think: supernatural soap opera like American Horror Story) each character’s story moves forward with most every episode. It may appear that the characters are entirely unrelated and yet episode by episode, the connections will become clearer. Like being an inch away from a spider web, with each book, the web will move further and further away revealing the full story of character and most importantly, the stunning conclusion for Onyx Webb herself.

In Book Eight:

  1. Onyx and Alistar's grandson Noah grow close as they create a "life" together with exciting new projects.
  2. The Mulvaney mansion is crawling with ghosts as a big event looms.
  3. Stan Lee continue to make mistakes without consequences, for now.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

Book eight has the anticipation of the upcoming Restoring Savannah Foundation Ball, to be held at the Mulvaney mansion. With the theme being the Solstice Eclipse, things are sure to come alive, pun intended. The dead count is starting to rival the live. I wanted so much for the ball to be included in this book, but at least it should start off with the next book.

Crimson Cove took on a happier, upbeat tone, which was refreshing, Stan Lee has become a liability to himself, and the stage has been set to lose another beloved character soon. I must say, I am very unhappy about that. But then again there may be hope, as death is not permanent...at least not in the world of Onyx Webb.

More questions get answered in Book Seven and the timelines are narrowing much closer.

  2. Stan Lee gets revenge against Mika Flagler.
  3. Onyx Webb deals with the crazy film festival and life alone... for now.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

Book 7 starts off bringing Quinn Cole to the forefront. Until now, his character had been mostly forgotten. This in turn leads to a couple more forgotten characters from the past, one in particular thought to surely be gone forever. But as you quickly discover in this series, anyone can show back up at any time. Amusingly, there was a pie fiasco, a murderer’s blunder, and even surfing for funny cat videos.

I am so addicted to this series. It ensnares you in its darkness, but in a light-hearted way. The authors are adept at always being at least one step ahead of the reader in making unexpected and sometimes shocking connections. That is what makes this series so fascinating….and addictive.

Onyx Webb: Book Six Review

Onyx Webb: Book Six: Episodes 16, 17 & 18

By Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz

Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.
More questions get answered in Book Six and NEW characters are introduced, several others return.

  3. Onyx Webb finally has a new person in her life but like most things, it does not last.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

A new character is introduced in book six. His quirky, oddball behavior fits in perfectly with the rest of the characters. I like that the authors researched a documented case on his type of ailment, and included it in the dedication. This helped to validate the unusualness of his condition.

As the timelines are brought closer to the present, and more connections click, I can’t help but feel sorry for the characters, for the things they have gone through, and how unfair life has been for them. As usual, there are secrets, betrayals, and ghostly encounters. Add to that, unique and unusual characters, then throw in a few plot twists and you have a story that continues to be no less than awesome.

By Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz

Onyx Webb: Book Five: Episodes 13, 14 & 15 by [Fenton,Richard, Waltz,Andrea]
Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.
Readers of the series will see the web tighten in this book, the past and present are slowly starting to catch up to each other and shocking connections continue to be made.

  2. It’s 2010, and the Mulvaney's are dealing with Koda's accident.
  3. Onyx Webb fights to keep her way of life.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

Book five pulls the spider’s web tighter as more connections are revealed. The creepiness factor increases with the Leg Collector. More greediness surfaces. Timelines are noticeably crossed. It leaves a peculiar feeling with you when a character dies, but is present later in an older timeline. Eerie, but welcome.

I was drawn closer to my favored characters, and grew a deeper contempt for the villains. This series is so easy to read that it only takes a few hours to totally finish each book. And each one has me immediately starting the next one, to read non-stop again. It’s a vicious cycle that I hope never ends.

Onyx Webb: Book Four: Episodes 10, 11 & 12 by [Waltz, Andrea, Fenton, Richard]
Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.
More questions get answered in Book Four. A darkness is building and more supernatural twists occur. Onyx Webb is a series you will enjoy reading more than once. After you finish Book Four, consider a complete re-read of the series!

MY REVIEW

Book four begins with the trial of the century, Onyx being at the center of it all. Catfish is reintroduced. I’m glad, because he is one of my fondest characters, especially in this episode. A couple of characters are introduced, a couple more meet their end. All while the universe strives to keep its balance.

I love getting caught up in this world of spookiness. There were enough paranormal episodes to keep me satisfied, but still longing for more. As the plot delves further into each of these character’s lives, I can’t help but feel their betrayals and fears as my own.

Onyx Webb Book Three Review

Onyx Webb: Book Three: Episodes 7, 8, 9

By Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz

Welcome Back to the World of Onyx Webb! This is Book Three. (Episodes 7, 8 & 9)

Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.

As with Book Two, this book promises to be just as twisted, dark, creepy and continues to weave more of the web together.
Onyx Webb is a complex multi-genre mash-up that combines elements of supernatural suspense, crime, horror, romance, and more. The Onyx Webb series follows the unusual life of Onyx Webb along with a central group of characters in various locations and times.

In Book Three:

  1. It’s in the late 30's, Onyx and Ulrich have started a new life in Crimson Cove.
  2. It’s 2010, and Koda Mulvaney is picking up the pieces of the latest tragedy.
  3. It’s the 60's and Declan Mulvaney is building his family fortune - a good intent with horrible consequences.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

The spider’s web continues to grow in book three. Onyx is still in the dark on what’s happening to her. Tommy and Declan have parted ways, but continue their loyalty to each other. Koda delves further into the mystery of the girl in the mirror. And Cryer and Fudge continue their search for proof of ghostly encounters.

I can’t seem to put this series down. The web drew me in from the beginning and continues to amaze me. Each story is spookier than the last. I am so glad that there are many more adventures ahead for each of these characters.

Onyx Webb Book Two Review

Onyx Webb: Book Two: Episodes 4, 5 & 6

By Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz

Welcome Back to the World of Onyx Webb! This is Book Two. (Episodes 4, 5 & 6)

Haven't Gotten Entangled Yet? Please Start with Book One.

If you enjoyed Book One, you will love Onyx Webb: Book Two! The story gets darker, creepier, and crazier.
Onyx Webb is a complex multi-genre mash-up that combines elements of supernatural suspense, crime, horror, romance, and more. The Onyx Webb series follows the unusual life of Onyx Webb along with a central group of characters in various locations and times.

In Book Two:

  1. It's the 30's, Declan Mulvaney and his best friend Tommy Bilazzo learn to survive at the Open Arms Orphanage despite the adults who run the place.
  2. It’s 2010, and Koda Mulvaney is going insane trying to see the girl in the mirror once again.
  3. Onyx Webb finds herself struggling to build a life with her crazy German husband, Ulrich, with no good way out.

...........................................................................
MY REVIEW

The story of Onyx continues with book two of the series. As before, we follow Onyx, Koda, Declan, and a few others, as they do their best to keep their lives from spinning out of control, whether it be dangerous, spooky, or downright frightening to them. This chapter of the story introduces an unlikely pair of paranormal TV show hosts, Cryer and Fudge, as they try to legitimize spirits. Also a few more character connections are revealed.

It was easy to pick back up from where book one ended. Each of the character’s stories quickly pull you in, and again leave you at the end begging for more. I’m already so invested in each character that I want to protect them from the life they have been dealt. There’s no doubt about it, I must continue this series.
