MY REVIEW OF Tiago
The night
before Brielle and her mother leave for another trip to the Amazon rainforest,
they are attacked and her mother is killed. Brielle then flees to the Amazon to
find answers to the questions her mother left unanswered. Once there, she finds
her life in unexpected danger at every turn. When Tiago, the rainforest
protector, appears and saves her, more than once, she realizes that they are
connected somehow. But can he bring true harmony to her ongoing chaotic life?
The character
of Brielle came across as lacking. Even though she had experience in the
Amazon, she didn’t show enough survival preparation or skill for someone who thought
they could live there. It was an interesting plot, but it left me feeling like
it wasn’t quite enough fill-in to draw it all together. I did like the showdown
between Tiago and Doc, and felt that it was the right amount of action for
balance of the story.
