MY REVIEW OF Uncommon Destiny Uncommon Partner
The title of
this book is in reference to the perspective one should have in regards to
searching for and obtaining a life partner. This was written as a guidance
especially for the younger generation, but its principles can be applied to
anyone. I thought most of it to be straightforward and logical. And I, too,
feel that it is information that must be stressed. I especially liked the
suggestion to write down that you choose to forgive someone, even though you
won’t be sharing the words with anyone. I can see how that can set you free.
I felt that the
author was very opinionated, and some of his views were self-centered. The
grammar in this book was horrible. It was wrought with broken and run-on
sentences, making it so hard to read that I sometimes had to back up to
understand what was being said. However, I did enjoy the chapter on the power
of words. To think negative words as spoken curses was an eye opener. I never
would have thought of declaring ‘In the name of Jesus I cancel that’. I think
that is brilliant, as well as powerful. Anything that sends negativity away
from my life has to be good. I think everyone can learn something from reading
this book.
