MY REVIEW

This is a story that could only come from tinsel town. With a tale of opulence and power, it would have to be full of backstabbing and name calling. The story centers on several random characters who eventually come together at different times and different ways. There is the reigning queen of daytime television and the former cast aside queen who wants the throne back. Then there’s the first female President of the United States and the Senator who wants to replace her. And finally, you have an out of control scientist and the monsters he creates. Of course there’s a few others woven into the fray too.

At first I didn’t know how the different characters were going to meld together. They were all over the place as far as their introductions went. Then once things clicked for me, I was only interested in some of them, which made the story kind of drag on for me. It did open my eyes to a few political tricks that may or may not be true to form. I was suspicious before. Now even more so. Even though I wasn’t thrilled with this book, it was still a satisfying read. I like this author’s writing style.
