MY REVIEW
After her
marriage fell apart, Natalie moved away from Juniper Falls and went back to
school to earn a culinary degree. But when her grandmother doesn’t answer the
phone, Natalie becomes worried and catches the next plane back to Juniper
Falls. There she runs into Cooper King, and was reminded of the best kiss of
her life that they shared three years ago, before she moved on and eventually
married. She starts thinking that maybe they can finally finish what they
started. But when Natalie finds out the true reason for Cooper’s return, she is
not happy at all.
This was a short
but enjoyable read. The characters were well-rounded, the plot easy to follow.
I couldn’t help but root for them to overcome the obvious obstacle. I was
hoping the ex-husband and his new wife would be featured more, just to see their
smugness wiped away. That is always satisfying. Maybe in the next book. But
still, the story was entertaining and worth the read.
