Well hey again! Thought I'd show you something new. I know how much all of you like butterflies. I know this because of all the responses I got on my stepping stone ones. Well, I kinda put a twist on them this time. Instead of stone, I thought I'd try wood. This was actually my dear hubby's idea. He cut and glued, then I painted. These can be hung on a wall indoors or out. Whaddaya think?
Can you tell that it's made from paint sticks? To me, it looks more like a bird than a butterfly. I thought it turned out sooo good though. Here's another one.
These colors remind me of a parrot. Don't you think so? Actually, this one was not made of paint sticks. We didn't have enough of them so... compromise!! Hubby used a 2x4 and cut it down to the right size and thickness. He's so talented that way!
Anywho, I gotta say it...Ain't they purty! Leave a comment. I'd love to know what you think about them.
Til next time, have fun!

What is Pinerly?
Have you heard about Pinerly.com? It's a new way to pin on Pinterest. I know you've heard of Pinterest! If you haven't, where have you been?
Anyway, it seems that you have to get on a waiting list first. Then, the more friends you get to click on your pin, the quicker you are accepted. By posting on Facebook and Twitter, you get more exposure. One friend will get you a quick peek, five will get an earlier invite, and ten will get bonus features.
Truth is, I really don't know much about it, but I am intrigued! I do know that it has a way to schedule your pins (like spaced out all through the day) so that you don't overwhelm people with your enthusiasm;)
Just in case you're not following me on Pinterest, or did not see my pin, you can click here. I can use all the help I can get! Thanks.
Until next time, have fun!

The other giveaway is for a guestbook.

For my first giveaway, I have one (1) guestbook to be given away (A4 size; 100 pages). Fannie Frog
Hello friends. Just wanted to show you my new friend.
I've named her Fannie. Fannie Frog. I think it fits! She's such a happy little thing, isn't she.
I just took a store-bought 12 x 12 stepping stone and primed it with a dark green so that it will blend in with the grass, assuming I can get some to grow. That's why all my pictures are taken in gravel, so you can't see my beautiful dirt yard!
Anyway, after priming the stone, I researched alot (and I mean alot) of pictures of frogs but none seemed to pop for me. So out came the stack of newspapers and markers. I drew and drew and the poor little thing kept getting fatter and fatter (I know that feeling) until I was satisfied with my drawing. I then traced it onto the stone, painted, and spray sealed.
Now to find a spot in the yard for her. Until next time, have fun!

Brown and gold. I don't really like this one much, but dh loves it.
I like the coral color of this one. He sorta looks like a moth.
Yellow, black and red. What a combination! Works tho.
I think this is my favorite. I love the vibrant pink and purple together.
