MY REVIEW OF Spookiest Cemeteries
This book makes
for a great reference for someone looking for ghost adventure sites. Ms. Zepke
has used her extensive research to bring together a list of fifteen of the most
haunted cemeteries in America. I couldn’t help but notice that there was a
large number of them being in Illinois. That seems to be because of the Civil
War casualties.
I would love to
visit the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in California. Find-a-grave.com lists it
with over 500 famous interments. It even has a Doomed Buggy ride for the
“Dearly Departed”. I would definitely go for that. I also thought it pretty
funny that one cemetery uses a hearse for their tour. And it was creepy finding
out about churches being built on top of graves.
As always, Ms.
Zepke’s Spookiest series gave me shivers, and left me with the anticipation of
what can be found interesting, odd, and unusual around our country.
