Eye of Horlune (Holly Willow #1)
By Raven Snow
Holly wanted to stay here with him, if not forever then at least for tonight but her quota of luck had just run out.
Meet Holly Willow - a nineteen year old witch who packs a punch. Join her, her dysfunctional group of friends that joins her team and her mission to defeat the evil megacorporation, Valor Incorporated, and stop their leader from obtaining a magical artifact that could give him the power to control or destroy the world.
With some magic, a little corporate espionage, and a whole heap of luck, Holly and her friends will fight for family, love, and the fate of the world...
Novella (approx. 20,000 words). Romance is CLEAN. Raven Snow is known for her Cozy Mysteries. This is an early work, be warned there is some violence, does not have a the "small town" feel of a typical cozy mystery. It is a standalone (reading further volumes not required to enjoy the book).

MY REVIEW
Holly and her
friend Megan are doing everything they can to expose the megacorporation Valor
Incorporated. On the surface, Valor is an upstanding business, with dealings in
various sectors boosting the economy. But Holly knows that Valor is hiding its
true intentions, and she won’t stop until it’s revealed.
I love reading
stories that have more than one group of characters. This one had witches,
djinns, and oracles, all working together to create an interesting plot. Even
though it was a short read, there was enough personality for each character to stand
on their own. This was an interesting read that kept me entertained.
