MY REVIEW

In this book, the author lays down the steps you need to take to become successful and lead a fulfilling life. He grew up with his father telling stories about legendary business gurus. It gave him the frame of mind that anyone could achieve that greatness. But as he got older, he discovered just how hard that task was. Then after getting business experience, he realized that he just needed to be strategically planning. This involved having a vision and working your strengths and goals toward that vision.

One thing to look out for is to ensure that your strategic plan is in alignment with your vision. Otherwise you will never get the results needed. I like how the author laid down each of the steps to reaching your vision. It’s hard for me to think of a goal as a step and not an end game. That was the thing that surprised me. As he explained each step, I was mentally thinking of my own vision, and the things I need to accomplish to succeed in my future endeavors. I totally agree with all that the author put forth. I just think that it could have been said with half as many words. The information was repeated severely.
