MY REVIEW
In Change Your
Mind to Change your Life, the author states that the book should be used to
help maintain a positive attitude and outlook toward your life and the
happenings around you. I agree with him that we all have an inner strength with
great possibilities when accessed. Also, the chapters on making assumptions and
respecting each other’s views hit close to home for me. I know I am guilt of
that, even though I try to avoid it.
There were so
many pearls of wisdom in this book that it is hard to narrow down in a short
review. I liked the positive vibe that reading this book gave me. As he stated,
thoughts are important, powerful even. By changing your thoughts to positive
ones, you open the door to bring success in. Make your own choices and don’t
let others influence or discourage you to follow through. Don’t let anyone
label you, or allow their doubts to become yours. You, alone, need to chart
your course of action to achieve the results you desire. My favorite quote was,
“Be yourself, accept your unique experience, and then build upon it in positive
ways.” I think I already do that subconsciously, but need to get better at it.
