***MY HONEST REVIEW OF May I Sit On Your Towel***
Even though I
have never heard of famous couple, this autobiography grabbed me immediately
and didn’t let go. The story’s first lines explain the title, and had me hooked
from there through the last page. They were such interesting characters with
their full life of adventures and accomplishments. Written as a legacy for
their great-grandchildren, it makes for a very thorough ancestry log.
I am amazed how
much the world has changed in their lifetime. Even though I lived through many
of these years, over half in fact, I actually learned tremendously more about
each of those current events by reading this book. I felt more involved with
them.
I was amazed
with all of Ed’s ingenuity as a lawyer. He was truly a genius. It feels like I
have now traveled the world and virtually experienced so many things that I
will never truly experience in my lifetime. My favorite line was “A truly happy
person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour”. I concur.
