MY REVIEW

Michael Davidson, known as the thief-in-law, is the best at what he does. So is his team. There is no heist too complicated for them to successfully pull off.  But after the snafu that happened with the last heist, Davidson and his team had retired. When NYPD Lieutenant O’Rourke calls Davidson out of the blue, he wonders why, but agrees to meet. O’Rourke knows that billionaire Matthius Restling was behind his niece’s death and needed Davidson’s help proving it. O’Rourke had helped Davidson two years before so he felt he owed him. This meant getting the team back together. But this heist will be more challenging than any they’ve done so far.

This was a great story, filled with interesting characters whose bond was unbreakable. I enjoyed all the James Bond sleuthness they had going on. The stock trading was a bit over my head, but fairly understandable. I loved the camaraderie of the group and the tight connection they shared. This isn’t the first book of this series, but it’s the first I have read. I didn’t feel like I missed anything but it did make me want to go back and read the first one. If you like books like Ocean’s 11, you’ll definitely like this one.
