***MY HONEST REVIEW OF TASTE OF POISON***

 Austin Adair lives his life in the jungles of Central America as security services and outfitting guide. He has met and befriended an assortment of characters along the way. One such person is Leonardo Lomez, who Austin believes he knows very well. Unknown to Austin though, is the fact that Leonardo is head of one of the biggest drug cartels around. In fact, no one knows this except for Leonardo’s family.

This book delves deep into the workings of drug cartels, and how each family member has a role. There was some political information included that made me really think deeply about my awareness of the war on drugs. I liked the development of each of the characters along the way. Austin was a very good storyteller, and apparently so is the author. I felt like I was fully involved in what was happening. It was so emotional at times. I am curious as to how this story will continue.

Terry don Foley loves to write fiction and always has a story to tell, but the story of his life - his journey to sound mental health - is an interesting one, as well as entertaining. Mr. Foley lives in West Texas.
