Villisca Axe Murder House...the murders that took place here remain one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in America history and certainly explain why this is one of the most haunted places in the U.S.
Korner's Folly...find out why an architectural publication dubbed it "the Strangest House in the World."
Hampton-Lillibridge House...where an exorcism was performed in hopes of getting rid of its resident evil spirit.

MY HONEST REVIEW OF A Ghost Hunters Guide
This
compilation of haunted houses was personally researched by the author. She even
spent the night in a few of them for further proof of authenticity. There are
fifteen different houses listed. Most, if not all, have well-known reputations.
This is the third book of hers on hauntings that I have read. I like the way
she breaks down each place by telling the backstory, and then the hauntings
separately. Of course every place listed is backed up with eye witness accounts.
I can tell how much passion the author has for the
subject of the supernatural. It definitely shows in her writings. No doubt this
would be a good reference book to have if you have any interest in “ghost
hunting” adventures. There were several that peaked my interest of possible
future weekend getaways.
